"Further than the Eye can See!" poster

In this activity you will discover a type of light that our eyes are not able to see — infrared light. You will use modified webcams to find out what the world would look like if your eyes were sensitive to this kind of light. A thermal imaging camera gives you an insight into a world in light that is beyond what our eyes can see — making infrared radiation visible. You will find out that it’s important to look beyond the visible, to see the Universe through different eyes, in order to get the whole picture.
