The Butterfly Nebula in fulldome
NGC 6302, also known as the Butterfly Nebula or Bug Nebula, lies about 4,000 light-years away in the arachnologically correct constellation of the Scorpion (Scorpius).
This is just one of the many views a visitor can have from inside the planetarium at the ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre.
