Uniform Universe

At the largest scales, our Universe is remarkably uniform, as evidenced by this map of the temperature of the cosmic background radiation (-270.3 °C). The cosmic background radiation is electromagnetic radiation left over from an early stage of the universe in Big Bang cosmology.
