The big questions

This image shows theme 11 of the ESO Supernova Planetarum & Visitor Centre's exhibition. This theme covers one of the most grandiose subjects in astronomy, Cosmology. Visitors will learn about some of the biggest questions on astronomy — where did we come from, and where are we going?

Visitors to the exhibition have the chance to explore, touch, use real astronomical artefacts and conduct experiments to get an idea of what it means to be an astronomer and discover the mysteries of the Universe.
