ESO — Reaching New Heights in Astronomy
ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
6 April 2022

Dear visitors and supporters,

We are delighted to announce that our planetarium shows are now bookable until end of July. Take a look at what is on offer here.

From Sunday 3 April, in line with the Bavarian guidelines, there is no 2G/3G requirement for any visits to the ESO Supernova. To continue to protect our visitors, we maintain the requirement to wear a mask during planetarium shows and still recommend wearing a mask in our exhibition. Please note that all shows until 1 May still have distancing between individual groups. From Wednesday 4 May all 109 seats are bookable, with no distancing.

To see a summary of the most up-to-date COVID-19 measures visit our dedicated webpage here.

From Wednesday 13 April, the ESO Supernova will remain open from 09:00 to 17:00 continuously, Wednesdays to Fridays. Our weekend hours remain unchanged: 12:00-17:00.

We look forward to welcoming you to the ESO Supernova in the next months! If you’re looking for more astronomy in your life, why not follow us on Instagram!

Thanks for your continued support and interest!
