ESO — Reaching New Heights in Astronomy
ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
8 February 2024

Dear visitors and supporters,

We hope you had a good start into the New Year and wish you all the best for 2024.

We used most of the time in January at ESO Supernova for maintenance work of the building, the exhibition and the planetarium so that we are once again perfectly prepared for your visit. The biggest change you will notice happened in the planetarium, as we have installed new, more comfortable seats. Why not book a planetarium ticket and try them out?

We are excited to host tunnel.visions again here in the planetarium on 2. March. Tickets are on sale now for what promises to be a mesmerising experience of innovative music and stunning visuals on the dome. Find out more about the musicians and book your tickets on the event webpage.

And, if you didn’t yet come to see the travelling exhibition about the James Webb Space Telescope, don’t worry – you still have some time! The exhibition will be in the ESO Supernova until Sunday 25 February.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon in the ESO Supernova.

Best wishes
Tania Johnston
Head of ESO Supernova
