ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
28 September 2023

Dear visitors and supporters,

As the autumn weather draws in, perhaps you are looking for some interesting activities to enjoy in the ESO Supernova.

Next month, we are delighted to welcome NOVA, a musical trio from Switzerland, who will play their Observatory Tour set in the planetarium of ESO Supernova. Read all about this concert here and make sure to book your tickets early!

Have you seen our latest planetarium show yet? Black Hole: First Picture is a great story following two scientists involved in the international collaboration, the Event Horizon Telescope, that ultimately resulted in the first images of black holes. Don’t miss this beautiful show!

Finally, we are very happy to announce that the ESO Calendar 2024 is now available for purchase. As always it contains a range of impressive images, both of astronomical objects and ESO’s amazing facilities. Buy your copy either at the online ESOShop or on-site in the ESO Supernova.

Look out for another newsletter coming soon to announce some more exciting activities in the programme.

Many thanks for your continued support!

Tania Johnston, Head of ESO Supernova
