ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
20 April 2018

Dear readers,

We open our doors to the public in just eight days and the team are very busy preparing the final touches. The ESO Supernova is looking fantastic and we very much look forward to welcoming you at some time in the future.

Our programme for the first months is filled with planetarium shows for all ages, tours of our starry exhibition, as well as special events such as Asteroid Day, a Stan Dart concert, a public talk going Behind Hubble’s images and more.

We already have many bookings, from members of the public and school classes - in fact, already more than 1000 school pupils are booked to visit us before November! You can see our programme for the first months online and book your own tickets there too.

Please do take a look at some of the fantastic promotional material our colleagues have prepared such as a timelapse of the construction of the building and a short trailer. Please feel free to share these on social media to help us spread the word!

As ever, I thank you for your continued interest and support!

Tania Johnston
ESO Supernova Coordinator
