ESO — Reaching New Heights in Astronomy
ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
17 January 2023

We wish all our supporters and visitors a very happy new year!

We are delighted to have not just one, but two, exciting talks in February for you, both of which are bookable now. The first, on Thursday 9 February, is the annual public talk, organised by our friends at the Max Planck Institute for extraterrestrial physics, organised in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This is a free event and this year the topic is our neighbouring planet: Mars. Book your ticket here . And then, we are very happy to welcome our friend from Sterne und Weltraum, Dr. Andreas Müller, on Friday 24 February, who will tell us all about the beauty of astronomy. Find out more about this event and book your ticket here .

Weekend planetarium shows are bookable until the end of March (https://supernova.eso.org/programme/calendar/category/planetarium-shows/) and the programme for the carnival holidays is also available.

We look forward to welcoming your all sometime in 2023 in the ESO Supernova!
