ESO — Reaching New Heights in Astronomy
ESO Supernova Public Newsletter
6 February 2026

Dear Visitors and Supporters,

The programme for March is filled with many opportunities for all to visit the ESO Supernova, including lots of shows for children, an English language planetarium show and one of our accessible screenings with subtitles for those with hearing impairments. Added to that is a special live show on the evening of Friday 6 March, introducing the highlights of the spring night sky.

March also sees us welcoming our friends tonelabs back to the planetarium. After a long break, during which tonelabs have been hard at work on their new album, they are back to present this new material, complete with new visuals on the dome. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy this audiovisual experience at the ESO Supernova. Full details can be found in our press release.

We look forward to welcoming you soon at the ESO Supernova and thank you for your continued support.

Best wishes
Tania Johnston
Head of ESO Supernova
